Their dad, Reginald “Reg” Baker, began working at Neiman’s Automotive in Lake Highlands in 1969. He purchased the store in 1989, and it’s now named Baker’s Lake Highlands Automotive.“Our authentic store was a full-service fuel station,” Jordon stated. “We might pump fuel, test tires and wash home windows. That was our job as children.”Jared labored within the store till he graduated from highschool. After school, he adopted a 20-year profession in finance.
After highschool, Jordon continued working within the store. He was a mechanic for nearly 15 years and racked up a number of Automotive Service Excellence certifications.
In 2019, when Jordon and Reg determined to open a second location on Spring Valley Highway, Jared accepted a proposal to return to the household enterprise. “I advised [Jared], ‘We’re going to purchase a store, and you can be a giant a part of it,’” Jordon stated.
